ABC announced the new celebrity lineup for Dancing with the Stars, with many of the names matching the list that leaked Monday on the Internet, including boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Melanie Scary Spice Brown.

New York deejay Wendy Williams confirms that Robin Givens will be playing her in a movie based on her life and career called “Queen of All Media.” Williams financed the film with her own money and says that despite the diffrence in height (Givens is is shorter than Williams) and the diffrence in look, she was great for the role. Williams told sohh.com “I can’t think of who could play me, who actually looks it, therefore [we went] with someone who speaks well and Robin did a good job.”

Shortly before beginning play this week in the U.S. Open, Venus Williams attended the official launch of her fashion line EleVen at retailer Steve & Barry?s in New York. The store partnered with Williams in the creation of the 120-piece collection, the largest ever launched by a female athlete. The line includes nine styles of athletic footwear in a variety of color ways, track suits, fleece outerwear, street active apparel, graphic t-shirts, puffy down jackets with removable sleeves, denim jackets and jeans, velour items, tote and gym bags, jewelry, sports socks and bras.

We hear that an ATL stripper, named Precious is alleging that Nelly is the father of her unborn child. The former stripper who used to work as a pole dancer at Strokers is adamant that the St. Lou rapper is the father of her baby. A close friend / fellow stripper said, “She stopped dancing about 2 months ago and told everyone that she was pregnant with some [celebrity's] baby.”

Atlanta-based producer Polow Da Don was all over the black blogosphere yesterday for his disparaging comments agaisnt black women in a Q&A interview with Allhiphop.com. The beat-maker behind Fergies London Bridge, Kelly Rowlands Like This and Rich Boys Throw Some Ds was asked by the Web site to explain his nickname, King of the White Girls. He responded: I ain’t self proclaimed but I run with it. [Laughs] There was a stage in my life where I went crazy with dating white women. I have nothing against black women, but theyre raised differently.

If you haven’t seen it yet, Miss Teen South Carolina answers a question that leaves you going “what?” during a nationally televised beauty pageant. The question was “Why can’t 1/5th of Americans locate America on a map?” Lauren Caitlin Upton gave an answer that couldn’t have made less sense if she were speaking in a foreign language … in fact, maybe she was!

Actor, Owen Wilson Attempts Suicide

Extra has obtained the Calls For Service report from the Santa Monica Police Department, which lists the reason for the 911 call from Owen Wilson’s house on Sunday as an “attempted suicide”. The 911 call, which was received on August 26 at 12:08 p.m., was made by the actor’s younger brother, Luke, who found Owen. The Wedding Crashers star was immediately rushed to St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica and was later transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
