Sargama India is filing a lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court againstt The Game, Interscope Records and Aftermath Entertainment, stating the song “Put you on the Game” violates copyrights by the India-based firm.

 The firm was formerly known as The Gramophone Company of India and was one of India’s largest recording companies. “Put You on the Game” was produced by hit maker Timbaland, who is featured on the song and is also named in the lawsuit, along with co-producer Nate “Danjanhandz” Hills. Also named in the suit are Universal Music Group, Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit Records, Czar Entertainment, Timbaland’s Virginia Beach Music and The Game’s Black Wall Street imprint. Saregama is suing for an undisclosed amount.
