The 5 lbs. 4 oz boy, named Mekhi Thira Phifer, was born in Los Angeles. Both the mother and child are doing fine we hear. This is Oni’s first child and Mekhi’s second. His eldest son, Omikaye, is from his first marriage to actress Malinda Williams.

Jim Jones recently announced that he’ll be dropping a free mixtape, “Harlem’s American Gangsta,” on November 6. According to fellow gossip princess Miss Info, the mixtape is a direct response to Jay-Z’s new concept album, American Gangster, the unofficial soundtrack to the Denzel Washington flick of the same name.
