Police are investigating a car found abandoned after it slammed into a palm tree and crashed in Hollywood, Fla., that was registered to Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder, CBS4.com reported. A set of crutches, a gun, a Blackberry and the car’s keys were found inside, according to the report. We hear that Douglas “Biggs” Ellison has filed a $20 million dollar lawsuit against Island Def Jam, claiming the label attempted to steal R&B artist Chrisette Michele from his Queens-based production company, Four Kings Productions Inc. This lawsuit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. Biggs claims that Island Def Jam Music Group, Shalik Berry (A&R) and Michele’s parents Lynette and Lemuel Payne engaged in unlawful business practices in an attempt to get the Grammy nominated singer out of her exclusive contracts with Four Kings. More Rumors are flying around about the Eddie and Tracey breakup.  The National Enquirer reports that their families were at odds. Specifically the mothers of the bride and groom. According to the tabloid, Murphy’s mother felt as if Edmonds was a gold digger, while Tracey’s mom felt Eddie wasn’t good enough for her daughter. LOL! We just got word that Lil’ Wayne was arrested near Yuma, Arizona by law enforcement officials and members of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) last night (January 22). Details are still sketchy. Weezy is in the custody of the Yuma County Sheriff’s Department, where he will be arraigned on felony charges of possessing dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ludacris, real name Chris Bridges, has officially confirmed his plans to open an upscale restaurant in his Atlanta hometown that will offer a modern twist on Singaporean cuisine, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The restaurant, named,  Straits Restaurant, will be located att 793 Juniper St. in Midtown and is set to open in April. It will be an extension of three California dining spots with the same name run by chef/owner Chris Yeo. (more…)
