Producers announced Thursday that the Broadway musical The Color Purple, which officially opened Dec. 1, 2005 at the Broadway Theatre, will take its final bow on Feb. 24. The Broadway production recouped its $11 million investment within its first year on Broadway, and has grossed over $103,000,000 to date. wow!

I would love to see that before it ends. I know it was a great show w/ great singers.!!!
It is a great show. I didn’t get to see it with Fantasia in it. But it is worth a trip to the show if you’ve not yet had that chance. My next show is Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Terrance Howard. I hope this one also good.
