A California Assembly woman is sponsoring new legislation that would require all patients receiving elective plastic surgery to receive clearance from a licensed doctor. On behalf of Kanye West’s family and pursuant to the death of the late Donda West, the proposed “Donda West Law” would allow doctors to ensure that patients undergoing plastic surgery are healthy and in good medical condition endure the potential complications of general anesthesia.
