Guess who will be participating in the popular dance show, “Dancing With the Stars”, next season? Yup! Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor! Taylor will be the first “active” NFL player to compete on the ABC show! The announcement was made yesterday, during ABC’s “Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann”. If you are a fan of the show, you probably have seen NFL Legends, Emmit Smith (who won) and Jerry Rice compete in previous seasons.

Also competing in the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars” are actress Marlee Matlin, magician Penn Jillette, figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, tennis player Monica Seles, R&B singer Mario (YES!), comedian Adam Carolla and actor Steve Guttenberg. The show commences in March and runs through May. Jason Taylor will be promoting his appearance on the show on Oprah Winfrey airing this Thursday.
