On Friday, April 11th, at SOHO Studios in the Wynwood Arts District Fashion designer, Lindsey Pelliccia showcased the first and only eco-friendly, demi-couture eveningwear called Pelli Cha. The premiere collection of eveningwear fashions is made exclusively of natural fabrics and produced in a sustainable way. Pelliccia is the first among four designers in the Eveningwear Showcase to present her collection.
Miss Xpose staff attended the event which debuted the Pelli Cha clohting line which is inspired from the traditional artisanal communities in India; using natural processes in the production of silk fabric, with her wonder and concern for the environmental impact of the textile industry in Brazil, and her innate talent for design making, derived from a long line of remarkably talented women in her family of seamstresses and dress makers, Lindsey Pelliccia showcases a young contemporary and classy-chic style that
is organic, timeless and wonderfully imperfect.
“I want to communicate the strength and beautiful imperfection that makes us women all so spectacular, naturally beautiful and individual,” said Pelliccia. “And, I want to do it in a way that is respectful of the environment because it is something I feel so connected to.”
