FOUNDING MEMBER OF R&B GROUP 702 PASSES AWAY…

Orish Grinstead, founding member of the R&B group 702 passed away due to kidney failure this past Sunday Orish, who was only 27 years old, suffered from cancer as well and was plagued with both illnesses for quite some time. (see pic of Orish below)
Orish formed the group 702 with her twin sister Irish and older sister Lameisha in the mid 90s. The group was discovered by comedian Sinbad in Vegas. They were orginally a quartet, but subsequently became a trio when Orish left the group to pursue her solo career. Shortly after the change, 702 became an overnight success with their freshman debut, No Doubt, which had hits such as “Steelo” , “All I Want” and “Get It Together”. The CD sold over 500,000 worldwide.

I have read a number of your post and I love it, can’t wait to read some more.
I can’t beleive this, I was just wondering what’s going on with the group and started doing research on you guys and this happens. I’m really truly sorry for the pain. She’s in a much better place now. Love You guys and God Bless All.
Sad. I had a thought about the song “All I Want” (I was/and still is crazzzy over Irish) and got online to do some research on the group and found out about Orish’s death. R.I.P to a YOUNG beautiful soul. She was soo pretty. They all were pretty and very sexy/attractive in a good clean way. What’s up? I was sitting here browsing and 702 came to my head. I used to be and still am a big fan! I am very sorry for 702’s loss. Although this is not new news to many, I still want to give my condolences and may God bless you all. I pray that the group continues their career in the music industry sometime in the near future.
