Robin Thicke was prepared and proud to preview his upcoming album entitled “Something Else” at a listening party held in LA on Wednesday. Before playing his anticipated album, he thanked Interscope for the ‘honor to do this one more time’ and declared that the listening soiree was ‘a celebration. It’s the Barack Obama era: yes, we can!’ LOL! The album is set to drop on July 1 under the Star Trak/Interscope label. The first single will be “Magic” which is an uptempo song described by Billboard as  “a further expansion of the sultry, classic R&B sound that powered his 2006 breakthrough, ‘The Evolution of Robin Thicke.” They were right on the money with that description! Even though Thicke’s last album had cameos including Lil Wayne, Faith Evans and Pharrell, this album will feature no guests…Simply Robin Thicke!
