Florida’s largest music, art and waterfront festival comes to downtown West Palm Beach, FL from April 30 – May 4, 2008. This years music lineup for SunFest 2008 is exciting! Fergie will grace the stage “xposing” her tremedous talent on Friday, May 2, while John Legend will be serenading the crowd with his beautiful voice on Sunday, May 4. A little history about Sunfest, it was founded in 1982, SunFest is Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival. Held annually in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida the first week in May, SunFest attracts more than 275,000 visitors. The festival and the patrons that it attracts have a very positive impact on the community.
SunFest is produced by SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc., a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc., celebrating its 26th year, consists of a 21-member board of directors; 25 committees; more than 3,000 volunteers; a full time, year-round staff of 9; and approximately 100 corporate sponsors. SunFest 2007 is funded in part by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council through the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. SunFest is also sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

John Legend was GREAT!! He had the crowd going! I got a free ticket from work to the fest. Food prices too high, but it was all worth it when shorty went on stage and crooned those jams! Beautiful night!
