Busta Rhymes’ bodyguard was shot multiple times and found dead in the back of his pickup truck on yesterday. Jermaine Williams, 35, of the Bronx, was found dead in Ozone Park, Queens. Police discovered blood dripping from the backseat of William’s SUV and later found his body wrapped in a blanket in the backseat of the SUV.  Williams, also known as “Black,” was Rhymes’ bodyguard, however, it is not confirmed that he was working for the rapper during presstime. Busta has been in Europe and was not in town at the time of the incident. Williams, who leaves behind two children, reportedly went to Queens to visit his grandmother and ended up missing for almost 24 hours. (more…)

The troubles for Adam “Pacman” Jones continue to pile up even after leaving Nashville. It’s being reported that one of the former Titans Cornerback’s homes recently went into foreclosure. The West Nashville townhouse was foreclosed on in April. Jones’ attorney Worrick Robinson says it’s another example of the moneyproblems Pacman is experiencing because of his NFL suspension.

Los Angeles lawmakers are pushing for stronger surveillance of cosmetic medial procedures in the aftermath of Dr. Donda West’s death. West, Kanye West’s mother, passed away after suffering complications from an outpatient surgery procedure done by Dr. Jan Adams in California. The lobbying efforts are pushing for greater regulation of the plastic surgery industry. “These clinics are not hospitals,” Sen. Mark Ridley-Thomas (D-Los Angeles) told the Los Angeles Times. “You have to raise the standards.” Behind the whole movement is Dr. West’s niece.

Who would of thought baseball would go hip hop? Rapper Common, is teaming up with the Chicago White Sox to help raise awareness for his non-profit organization called “The Common Ground Foundation”. Common’s organization will host the Common Ground Foundation Day with the Chicago White Sox on August 12th when the team plays the Royals. The Common Ground Foundation helps to empower youth in underserved communities and provides various life skills. A portion of every baseball game ticket purchased the day of the event will be donated to The Common Ground Foundation.

Jessica Simpson’s little sister, Ashlee Simpson and her new husband Pete Wentz have finally admitted that they are expecting their first child. They announced the news on her husband’s website friendsorenemies.com, on Wednesday. “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” they wrote. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

You can squash all the gay rumors?…Ex-Idol contestant Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy. But wait a minute, don’t squash them just yet? Aiken reportedly impregnated his producer Jaymes Foster using artificial insemination. Foster, who is 40 years of age, was artificial inseminated with the 29-year-old singer’s sperm, according to the report. Aiken lives with Foster and claims that they are “best friends”. He plans on being involved with parenting their child. Aiken continues to avoid questions about his sexuality. “People don’t want to have that type of stuff pushed, people who are living in Omaha or in Charlotte or wherever,” Aiken told Access Hollywood last month. Just a week after telling the media that he will no longer name his upcoming album “N%gger”, Nas revealed that he has teamed up with DJ Green Lantern to drop “The N%gger Tape”.

“I guess it shows you the power of Wal-Mart and Target,” Green told Rhapsody’s Play blog regarding Nas’ title switch. “If that was the case, it’s definitely scary because it kind of f%cks with your artistic vision. Will it be another lackluster reality show? 50 Cent has collaborated with MTV to produce reality show for the. MTV announced yesterday that the elimination style reality show follows 16 contestants as they attempt to master the “skills that took 50 Cent from the streets to corporate America.” 50 will judge the contestants each week, until the finale, where a winner will receive a full scholarship to an undergraduate or graduate business program. Similar to T.I.‘s upcoming reality show, 50 Cent’s reality show which is untitled is being produced by Michael Hirschorn and Ish Entertainment. 50 Cent and his longtime manager Chris Lighty will serve as executive producers.
