Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson’s highly anticipated album will finally be on shelves in September, according to Billboard. The first single off the self-titled, Arista release, “Spotlight,” which was written by Ne-Yo, will hit radio airwaves on June 9.  It is confirmed that J. Hud has asked her mentors Alicia Keys and India Arie to work on this LP with her. Jennifer also has gotten help from Timbaland, Robin Thicke and Diane Warren for the debut set.

Besides preparing the release of her new LP, the singer recently finished recording a song “All Dressed In Love” which will be featured on the “Sex and the City” movie soundtrack. The soundtrack album itself will hit the stores on May 27. The Movie will hit the big screen on May 10th.
