Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28,  got married in the backyard of her parents’ Encino California home this weekend. They had approximately 150 guests at their nondenominational ceremony which was officiated by Joe Simpson himself. Guests included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. The decor was said to be goth rocker: black rugs, white couches with red pillows, black chandeliers and lots of red roses. (more…)

Cameron Diaz is loving the dating scene after her break up with Justin Timberlake. The two broke up more than a year ago and the actress expresses how going back to dating isn’t so bad after all. “Men are the best!” Diaz, 35, tells InStyle for its June issue. “Sex is the best!” She reveals that she seduces her men by wearing an outfit that accentuates her “natural” resources which is a pair of heels and nothing else! “You don’t walk around naked?” she questions everyone innocently. Usher’s mom/ex-manager, Jonetta Patton recently launched her own record label “JPat Records”.  She has already signed two artists, R&B group Kwiet Storm and R&B male solo artist Donte J. Even though Usher fired his mother/manager on Mother’s Day of 2007, she continues to run her Atlanta based management company, JPat Management. She is still managing the career of her youngest son, Grammy-nominated producer James “JLack” Lackey and Jive Records R&B artist Natasha. (more…)

It’s being reported that Michael Jackson has purchased a new home in or around Poughkeepsie, NY for a price said to be in the $1-2 million range. The purchase comes in the wake of a deal that allowed Jackson to save his Neverland Ranch from a scheduled foreclosure auction. (more…)

Guess who will be representing the New Jersey Nets in this year’s NBA draft lottery. Yep! You guessed it! Rap mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter will be one of 14 Nets reps that will be seated on the stage when the NBA Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver announces the winning order of teams participating in the draft lottery tonight!
