“The Wire” star, Tristan Wilds, who starred in two seasons of HBO’s critically-acclaimed series will be switching gears from from the crime and drug infested streets of Baltimore to the glamourous Southern California. Wilds will be the newest cast member of the CW’s revamped “Beverly Hills, 90210.” The actor will play Dixon, the adopted son of the Mills family, which consists of drunken grandmother Tabitha Mills (Jessica Walter), Jessica’s daughter-in-law Celia (Lori Loughlin) and her granddaughter Annie (Shenae Grimes). The family has moved to Beverly Hills because of Tabitha’s alcoholism.

As you may recall, Wilds, who is just 19, is best known for his role as a promising student-turned-Baltimore drug dealer Michael Lee in the final two seasons of “The Wire.” LOVE HIM! What a cutie pie!
