Usher went off on TRL recently defending his wife and the ongoing rumors about his marriage. Usher starts off by saying, “There was a little rumor earlier this week about [my wife and I] separating. It ain’t true. [We're] in love”… “Matter of fact, I’m tired of people continuing to talk so much trash about me. … My wife is not 40 years old. I love her to death and I’m a black, strong man in America standing up for my people—as a man to my wife, to my son, to my family,” he said walking towards the camera. Damien Fahey, the host of the show, seemed a lil freaked out as I am sure this wasn’t part of the set up. Fahey says “That’s it. There’s nothing left to say” … but Usher wasn’t through, LOL. Usher continued by saying “And my wife had nothing to do with me firing my mother [as my manager]—nothing like that, that’s trash. I hear y’all talking crazy out there. [Tameka] is a beautiful black woman. Stop. Stop talking. And I love her. Stop it.” Fahey went on to show Usher’s latest video “Love in this Club”, but Usher insisted that he wasn’t finished with what he had to say… LOL (watch the recap VIDEO here).

U know-I used the life Usher, then stopped after the he married that chick, and he just seemed really slow lately promoting his album, not so fresh and clean like he was pre-Chris brown. But now, WOOWWww! I have a new found respect for Ol’ boy, there aren’t too many guys who would go out like that 4 their woman on national tv case in point Jigga, we can’t even get a confirmation on that marriage. So, I give him respect, why is it when a black man shows love to his woman, people hate it??hmmm–Black people and people in general need to just stop it!! That’s why you don’t see many black strong relationships, including marriage. We need more role models, even if Tameka ain’t a 10 and she’s crazy, he loves her and that’s all that counts! Take heed black men out there! Step up and start committing.
