HOT 97 SAYS GOODBYE TO MISS JONES?

So rumor has it that Hot 97 has announced that they are adding BIG BOY in the Morning nationally syndicated radio show to their morning line up. So this clearly means that Miss Jones got the boot and is off Hot 97! In a few weeks, every morning from 7am – 10am, you’ll be able to tune in and check out Big Boy along with MTV Entertainment reporter Luscious Liz, Tattoo and the rest of the squad. Ebro Darden, HOT 97’s Program Director, says “Big Boy has an unmatched reputation for being entertaining…he also has great relationships with artists. Putting Big Boy on HOT 97 in New York City helps keep the high standard of radio happening for us.” Miss Jones will be departing next week which will allow her enough time to say farewell to her listeners. The new and much improved show with Big Boy will start on HOT 97 as early as July 21st.
A lot of changes are being made in radio. Miami hip hop radio station, 99 Jamz WEDR, got rid of their morning crew, SupaCindy and Big Lip Bandit, and replaced them with Ricky Smiley and Deez Nuts who will begin on July 7th. Ricky Smiley will be moving to Sunny South Florida along with his staff.

Wow… I personally have never heard her show(except the few scenes from Making the Band). But, Big Boy is making his money. I listen to him every morning out here in Cali.
Hate to see someone out of a job. But this should be a nice change. I thought Miss Jones was just to mean/rude.
I’ll make a point of not listening to big boi in the mornings…I loved miss jones and her show, she was real and different because she made it a point not to kiss anyone’s ass..a lot of radio hosts and magazine writers and consumers put artists on a pedestal, when in all actuality, the only thing that seperates us from them is fame, not even fortune because a lot of them are broke..miss jones asked the questions that most were afraid to ask, and when the artist would beat around the bush and act stupid that’s when she would end the interview, she was not into playing games..Miss Jones I’m going to miss you, but I hope one day that you will return back to NY, bigger and better than ever..take care

I am glady that fat bitch is off the radio. She was racist to her own black people, she was very rude she did not like people from the jamica, trinidad, guyann, if you did not born in the united state she dont like you. She said went to college that what they thought her in college to be fat and racist. Thank god her contract was up micheal shawn sorry and envy, but you was rolling with the fat bitch.
