We previously reported that fans were upset with Kanye because he showed up late to a performance at the Bonnaroo Festival. When he did finally make it to the stage at 4 a.m., the crowd repeatedly chanted “Kanye sucks!” Well, Kanye is pissed, so pissed, he blogged about it on his blog http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/.

Carmelo Anthony plead guilty to driving while ability-impaired, a charge which was reduced from the original charge of Driving While Under the Influence. The Denver Nuggest star was sentenced to a year probation, and 24 hours of community service, plus $1,000 in fines and court fees according to court documents. “I’m happy that it’s over so I get a chance to take care of my business,” said Anthony, according to People.com. Shaq is paying the consequences of his infamous freestyle dissing his ex-teammate Kobe Bryant. The Phoenix Suns star is a “special” deputy at the Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff’s Department, and apparently they want Shaq’s badge back! “I want his two badges back,” Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told the AP, “Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they’re fired. I don’t condone this type of racial conduct.” As previously reported, a youtube clip of Shaq’s freestyle at a New York Club Sunday night surfaced on the web. O’Neal teased Kobe and the Lakers’ for failing to win a championship after he was traded from the team in 2004. In the rhyme, Shaq blamed Kobe for ruining his marriage when he told cops in his rape case that he “should have done what Shaq does … Shaq would pay his women not to say anything.” (more…)
Who watched the BET Awards last night? The event went down at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles yesterday, and Rappers Lil Wayne and Kanye West were the night’s BIG WINNERS. Both rappers won multiple awards, with West winning the Best Hip-Hop Award. During his acceptance speech, the Chicago born rapper brought out Lil Wayne, who was nominated for the same award. “It feels good, like a family reunion to stand on stage with Lil Wayne, my fiercest comp,” Kanye West said, with Wayne at his side. “Congratulations for selling over a million records.” (more…)

Michael Strahan wants to keep busy even though he recently retired. The former New York Giants star has been signed by Fox Sports as an NFL studio analyst. The news will be cofirmed in a press conference today. Strahan will join host Curt Menefee and analysts Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson on the award-winning FOX NFL Sunday pregame show. Lil Wayne confirmed with MTV that T-Pain and himself will be joining forces to form a supergroup. Weezy revealed the news on Monday while on the set of Cassie’s new video for her single “Official Girl” in which he has a cameo.
This is what he had to say about T-Pain and his work ethic:
“We both have the same energy,” he said. “I don’t sleep. If you ask anybody, I don’t sleep. I think it’s the cousin of death. As much as you sleep, you’re impersonating death to me. He don’t sleep. I play all day. He plays all day and all night. The connection is crazy. He loves to be creative, he loves to work; I love to create, I love to work. He really wants people to respect his rapping; I really want people to respect my harmonizing.”
