So 50 Cent wanted to come clean on why he “xposed” the recorded phone conversation with former G-Unit rapper Young Buck on his website. As previously posted, Young Buck was recorded having a phone conversation with 50 Cent and cried about his financial woes and dismissal from G-Unit. Well, 50 Cent hit up Hot 97 radio station and had this to say about the incident…

“A lot of times people don’t see what the other person is doing,” 50 said, explaining to Hot 97’s Angie Martinez why he recorded the conversation in the first place. “They don’t understand the cause and effect. They don’t see the other person; they just pay attention to me.”       

According to MTV.com, 50 said the phone call took place in March, at a time when he “was trying to be as helpful as possible” to Buck. 50 also said that he would not record any future tracks dissing Buck, but did imply that their friendship is beyond repair.  (more…)

Imus is at it again with his racial innuendos. Don Imus has resurrected his career in radio after he was suspended for his racist and sexist comments made about the Rutger’s women’s basketball team.

Well, on Monday’s broadcast, Imus brought on a discussion about NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones and his legal troubles which brought on his suspension from the Dallas Cowboys. During a conversation about Jones’ run-ins with the law, Imus asked, “What color is he?” Sports announcer Warner Wolf said Jones — – is “African-American.” Imus responded: “There you go. Now we know.” Ummmm so what’s that suppose to mean? (more…)

Second season American idol champion, Ruben Studdard, will be tieing the knot soon. The R&B teddy bear and his fiance Surata Zuri obtained a marriage license on Monday at the Shelby County Probate Office in Birmingham, Alabama. An Alabama marriage license is valid for 30 days. (more…)

I’m sure you guys heard Shaq’s freestyle ripping Kobe Bryant. During a recent freestyle rap session at a New York nightclub, Shaq repeatedly taunted Kobe for not being able to win a championship without him, and even going so far as to blame Kobe for his recent divorce (what?). The clip, which is available on the internet, shows Shaq getting the crowd to chant “Kobe, tell me how my a$$ tastes.”

Word has it that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have a wedding registry set up at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman, nearly three months after their nuptials at her home in the Bahamas. According to In Touch magazine, the 40-item wish list includes a 19th-century Moser vase, a Buccellati sterling silver picture frame and 24 Christofle Aria place settings, which sell for more than $2,100 each. Ice T and Soulja Boy exchanged some harsh words last week. After a mixtape intro hit the Internet of Ice-T disparaging Soulja Boy, the young MC retaliated with a YouTube video dissing Ice-T’s age and career (see videos below). Ice T explained on allhiphip.com what started the beef in the first place. 

“I’d like to clarify how all this sh*t jumped off,” Ice-T said. “I was in the recording booth doing a mixtape and the cats in there doing the promotion were f**king with me. It wasn’t meant to be evil, it was basically that Hip-Hop ‘n*gga f**k that’ stance. I didn’t expect them to use that clip to promote their mixtape. At the end of the day that’s just an old school, passionate Hip-Hopper trying to keep this thing 100. I’m not trying to disrespect Collipark or even lil homie. The foreclosure crisis continues. NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones and formber NBA star Vin Baker are in jeopardy of losing their homes. The foreclosures sales have been schedule. Jones defaulted on the terms and conditions of his mortgage with U.S. Bank which was published in the foreclosure sales ad in Thursday paper. Pacman’s home is 30 acres and located in Nashville. It will it the auction block on June 27 at the Williamson County Courthouse.      

Vin Baker’s 10,000 square foot home in Durham, Connecticut will be up for auction later this month with a price of $2.3 million.  The former Celtics player’s restaurant, Vinnie’s Saybrook Fish House, also went under earlier this year after lender TD Banknorth foreclosed on the property.
