Have you seen the new “hand-painted” Obama sneaker by sneaker artist Van Taylor? Well, Will.i.am rocked the new kicks at Obama’s celebrity fundraiser and at the BET Awards.
You will notice that the Obama sneaker will be appearing on ‘red carpets’ around the world and prices start at 500$ a pair with partial proceeds donated to the official Barack Obama campaign. Sen. Barack Obama raised nearly $5 million at a celeb-drenched event in Los Angeles Tuesday that featured a who’s who of folks from the entertainment field, including Jennifer Beals, Sugar Ray Leonard and Samuel L. Jackson.

I wonder if these celebs ever thought that by doing lil things like this makes Obama look even worse in ‘other’ peoples eyes?

I own these kicks, they are hot like fire, the artist is crazy with his talent!
Nobody is making Obama look bad by showing him any type of support; if anything, they are showing that he is accepted by everyone and that he’s important enough to people that they want to incorporate him onto their favorite clothing, song, vehicle…anything!
And I too love the kicks! Will.I.Am is great as well!
Today is the first day that I saw the artist work, on TV 8 I think the young man has great talent and his work is awesome and I would love a pair myself.
