Alicia Keys is contemplating retiring by the time she turns 30. Keys says she wants to devote the rest of her life to traveling and discovering the world. Keys said:

“I am working hard now so I have the choice to retire when I want,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. “I would like to travel the world and stay in places instead of having to move on like I do now. I want to experience difference cultures,” she added.

In 2006 Keys took a break from music and travelled to Egypt to restore her form. The Fallin’ hitmaker insists that she hopes to be able to give up the entertainment industry in the next few years, so she can start living for herself.
