Mario gets a lil’ personal with Essence.com about his Do Right Foundation and his mother’s drug addiction. His foundation helps kids in drug-prevalent environments cope, something that Mario had to deal with growing up. In 2007, Mario allowed MTV to capture his life with his mother who was battling a 20-year drug addiction. Mario says he fears that his mother might relapse, but channels is fears in his Do Right Foundation.
