Someone asked me to read an article that appeared on CNN.com about legalizing marijuana. It’s pretty interesting that a huge debate amongst lawmakers has heated up relative to easing pot restrictions. Rep. Barney Frank said that the U.S. should stop arresting responsible marijuana users. Frank announced a proposal to end federal penalties for Americans carrying fewer than 100 grams, which is almost a quater-pound of weed. Some lawmakers feel as if the current laws puts to much burden on law enforcement resources, punishes people who are actually prescribed the substance, and unfairly affect and target African-Americans.

“The vast amount of human activity ought to be none of the government’s business,” Frank said on Capitol Hill. “I don’t think it is the government’s business to tell you how to spend your leisure time.” Allen St. Pierre, spokesman for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, also sided with Frank’s proposal. Pierre said “We do not arrest and jail responsible alcohol drinkers”. That’s sorta true! (more…)

Okay, I know the economy is bad, but I know these entertainers have the money to make ends meet. First Scott Storch, now Wyclef Jean? Latest news, Wyclef is being sued by Jacob and Company Incorporated, the company founded by Jacob The Jeweler, for failing to pay for items he bought. According to The Associated Press, the company claims that the Haitian born rapper bought watches and jewelry from them between March 2002 and January 2006 for $765,100 but still owes $319,680. Who watched The Bachelor:London Calling’s Matt Grant? Well Shayne Lamas, the former fiancee of the Bachelor Matt Grant, said she is keeping the engagement ring he gave her, even though the two called off the wedding and no longer are seeing eachother. Lamas says she has a permanent home for the 2.85-carat Tacori platinum-and-diamond eternity ring now that it’s off her finger.

“I have it and I am going to keep it forever for the rest of my life,” Lamas tells PEOPLE. “It’s safe and clean and in a glass box like a glass slipper.” (more…)

Okay, check this out. G-unit member, Tony Yayo, may be playing the role of legendary KRS-ONE in a new movie about the iconic Juice Crew and the birth of hip hop. Wait? First off, Tony Yayo doesn’t even have a “nose” like KRS, but I guess they can give him a prosthetic one…I know Miss Xpose is being mean today…Well the movie sounds exciting and Yayo is clearly happy to be considered for the role.  “I’m going to play KRS-One… That’s 50’s favorite rapper… They’re trying to do it right now.”, Yayo said. Akeelah & The Bee star Keke Palmer has already signed up for the role of Roxanne Shante in the film, while Evan Ross will portray MC Shan. No date has been set for the release of the movie…

The House of Representatives on Tuesday passed a resolution apologizing to African-Americans for slavery and the era of Jim Crow. The nonbinding resolution was introduced by Rep. Steve Cohen, a white lawmaker who represents a majority black district in Memphis, Tennessee. While many states have apologized for slavery, it is the first time a branch of the federal government has done so. How do you feel about this? (more…)

We hear that Kanye may be coming out with a Reality Show…Yes, yet another reality show dammit! LOL! HBO is developing a series that will star rapper Kanye West, reliable sources say. The untiltled project is said to focus on a day in the crazy, hectic life of the Grammy-winning artist. The project will be produced by director Larry Charles; sources said the other executive producers will be record producer/label executive Rick Rubin; G Roberson, who is West’s manager; and West. HBO declined comment at this time. Xpose will keep you posted!

Now we have a four month old daughter, and she is beautiful, and she looks just like him, but he refuses to see her. He won’t claim her, or support me and our daughter.

I live in his hometown, which is New Orleans, Louisiana. I even know his family down here. But he says it’s not his baby, so nobody will help us out. He is a [EXPLETIVE] deadbeat, and I wanna put him on blast.
