It has been reported that Rick Ross and Foxy Brown are no longer an item. Although it was never confirmed OFFICIALLY that they were together, Ross made the announcement that they broke up on Phoenix Radio Station Power 98.3. There was also speculation that the two got engaged last month, especially after the two graced the cover of Hip Hop Weekly, but in an interview with MTV News, Ross denied the rumors. “Nah, nah, nah,” he told us in Los Angeles. “The engagement is just speculation. Halle Berry is taking legal action against the photographers who took pics of her four-month-year old daughter, Nahla Arieal Aubry on her private property. Her attorney said a criminal complaint has been filed and an investigation is under way. The pictures were taken on Halle Berry and her baby while she was hanging out in the backyard of her home.The photos which show Berry holding her daughter, standing near a table in what appears to be a private backyard with Berry’s mother will appear in this week’s issues of In Touch Weekly and Life & Style Weekly.

“The paparazzi have gone too far,” Berry said in a statement to The Associated Press. (more…)

Its incredible how rumors get started. The New York Post/Page Six reported that Paula Abdul was seen having yet another meltdown but this time it was outside her gynecologist’s office on Wednesday in LA. A witness says Paula was “sobbing on the phone to her friends and clutching papers from her doctor” for two hours. Her rep told the column that she wasn’t “sobbing,” but rather “laughing and giggling” following her doctor’s visit. LOL!

The new line up for “Dancing with the Stars” has been leaked. We hear that Retired NFL star Warren Sapp will be joing the celebrities set to appear on the next season of the popular show. Al Sharpton has gone public and rejected ABC’s offer for him to join the cast. Sharpton says he rather spend the time focusing on voter education and politics.

TMZ.com has reported that  “Dancing” producers are “trying to create some major drama” with the casting, “possibly by pairing exes up against each other or people who have had some sort of turbulent relationship.” WOW! We also hear that Kim Kardashian has been asked to join the cast, along with Lance Bass and Florence Henderson. But Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show “I don’t know where that’s coming from … (but) I would be honored if they asked me. I can get down in a club.” (more…)

CNN’s Black in America was the highest rated program in its time slot for both nights, averaging 2.1 million viewers, 966,000 of whom were adults between 25 and 54, reports Nielsen Media Research. Some 900,000 were in the adults 18-49 demographic.

National Urban League CEO and President Marc Morial has released a statement “applauding” the “Black in America” documentary:

“As America looks at these issues, the focus should turn to solutions,” Morial said. “We need to work on getting Black Americans the education and healthcare services that they need to grow economically independent families. The Black Community deserves the right to go for the American Dream on an equal footing with the rest of the country.”

Model/Actress, Rebecca Romijn-O’Connell, and her hubby Jerry O’Connell, who married in 2007, are expecting twins. The twins are due this winter their rep confirms. This will be their first pregnancy and both babies are confirmed to be girls. The couple got married on July 15, 2007. O’Conell proposed to Rebecca during a trip to New York in 2005, just a year after he met her at an Al Green concert. (more…)
