Uncle Luke, aka Luke Campbell, tied the knot in Dallas recently. The star of the upcoming VH1 series “Luke’s Parental Advisory” married his fiancee Kristin Thompson Saturday in Dallas at the Saint Luke Community Methodist Church. Luke said he waited a long time for this special day. “I waited 47 years to find a special woman and have found that in Kristin,” Campbell tells People.com. “I never knew that I could feel love on another level like this until I met her, and I am now honored to call her my wife.” AWWWWWW (tears). 300 guests were invited and partied hard at the reception at Opus Grand Ballroom at Hotel Palomar. Doug E. Fresh was the DJ of the night. Their first dance was to Brian McKnight’s “Back at One”…(tears). Luke fiancee is general counsel for Campbell’s company Luke Entertainment.

Pick up the new issue of People magazine. Barack Obama and his family grace the front cover of the popular magazine. The Democratic presidential candidate revealed stories about his personal life and his campaign. Obama says his girls 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha get a weekly allowance of $1.00, both have chores and set times for play dates and movie nights just like any ordinary child. The kids receive no birthday or Christmas presents from Mom and Dad, who spend “hundreds” on birthday slumber parties and, as Barack puts it, “want to teach some limits.”

Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Black Eyed Peas and Mariah Carey are among the stars set to perform at this year’s Fashion Rocks concert. The event which celebrates the relationship between music and fashion will be held September 5th at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. CBS will air the two-hour special the following night. Proceeds will benefit Stand Up to Cancer, a program established by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research.

As reported yesterday, rapper Nas joined members of MoveOn.org and ColorofChange.org to deliver a speech protesting Fox News’ racially-charged coverage of Barack Obama and Black America in front of News Corp. headquarters in Manhattan Wednesday. Check out the pics/video of speech:

So we hear that 50 is suing Taco Bell. He claims the fast-food restaurant chain is using his name without permission in advertising that asks him to call himself 99 Cent. A.P. reports that the New York rapper filed a federal lawsuit on Wednesday saying that the fast food chain features him in a print ad asking him to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. LOL!

Usher and Tameka say that their seven month old son is a ball of energy.  “He’s like hyper baby – he’s crawling so fast. He stands up, and he’s walking around the table. It’s amazing to watch him,” Foster told Usweekly.com. “I’ve never seen a baby crawl so fast! I call him Dash, like on the ‘Incredibles.’ “We’re just scared because the baby knows how to get off the bed already, so our bed is like a gigantic crib because we have rails.” When asked if they plan to have more kids,  “I’d love to have more, we just gotta make the time,” she said. Forbes came out with Hollywood’s top earners….Will Smith came out on top earning more money than any other film star in Hollywood. The “Hancock” actor raked in $80 million in 2007, beating No. 2-ranked Johnny Depp and his $72 million. Eddie Murphy  was tied with Mike Myers each earning $55 million last year.  

Rapper David Banner, who just released his fifth studio album “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” has been nominated for two OZONE awards – the Pimp C Award (Trillest Artist) and Best Rap/R&B Collaboration for the first single off his new project “Get Like Me” ft. Chris Brown & Yung Joc.  The 2008 Ozone Awards will be held in Houston, Texas, along with the TJs DJs Tastemaker’s Conference, August 8-11.

Well we didn’t want to put this story out until the rumor was confirmed, but pictures don’t lie! It has been rumored that Jennifer Hudson is dating Punk from I Love New York 2. Remember him? The one who looked semi-gay? Well, although the two are trying to hide their relationship, its pretty obvious that Punk seems to be everywhere J-Hud is these days. As you may recall, Jennifer Hudson was engaged to her longtime boyfriend, but the two decided to break things off earlier this year. Check out these pics of Punk lurking in the background.
