Lil’ Wayne will make his second appearance as a musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Beijing Games hero Michael Phelps will host the upcoming season premiere of Saturday Night Live! The 23-year-old super swimmer will help kick off the 34th season of the long-running NBC comedy show. The SNL season premiere kicks off four live shows in a row. Season premiere of Saturday Night Live will air on Sept 13. @ 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC.

Mario Knight aka Suge was arrested yesterday for assault charges after an altercation with his girlfriend. Police reports say that Knight, who is 43, was arrested on the streets of the Las Vegas strip after authorities responded to a domestic dispute call. Knight and his girlfriend were arguing and he allegedly punched her in the head. “The victim purposely grabbed the steering wheel and caused the vehicle to hit the curb,” police revealed. His girlfriend tried to run away, but Knight chased her down and caught up with her. When the police found Knight, he supposedly was standing over his girlfriend with a knife in his hands. Today is a historic day…It’s the 45th anniversary of the day Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I have a dream” speech to a quarter of a million people outside the Lincoln Memorial. To add on to history, Obama was nominated by the Democrats as their presidential candidate as the first black American to ever to be nominated. We pray that Barack Obama personifies at least part of Martin Luther King’s dream…

Have any of you picked up Faith Evan’s book “Keeping the Faith” yet…It’s really good with juicy details on her marriage with BIG, her alleged affair with Pac, and beating down Lil Kim. Faith said that she caught Lil Kim butt naked in bed with her former husband Notorius B.I.G.. Here’s an excerpt from her book:

She pens in her memoire: I don’t know what got into my head. But I decided that I needed to know once and for all what Big was really trying to do. On that night before Christmas, I drove to Big’s house on a mission to find out where I really stood.

The security guard at the gate just waved me in when I pulled up. It was Christmas Eve and she’d seen me come into the complex with the kids, so I guess she didn’t think anything of it. I parked in the rear of Big’s town house and walked up to the garage. It was locked. I hadn’t been over to Big’s house a whole lot but I did know that you jiggle the garage door a certain way and unlock it.

I got into the garage, where there was an elevator that would take me to both floors of Big’s duplex. There I was, rocking a black skully cap and a heavy goose-down jacket, tiptoeing into the elevator and pressing the button to go up to the second floor, where his bedroom was located. I got to Big’s bedroom door, turned the knob, and went inside. As soon as I saw a small lump next to Big’s large frame, I flew into a rage, ran over to the side of the bed, and pulled back the covers. DMX is trippin’ in jail. As previously reported, DMX is in a Miami jail for violating probation and other charges. Well, buddy is in desperate need for some McDonalds…He literally begged a guard for a BIG MAC last week. X’s wish wasn’t granted, which is probably why he cursed out the Judge at his hearing today…LOL! DMX was denied bond earlier today in a hearing in a Miami courtroom, in addition to that, he must sit his but in jail for another month for using the F-Word all over the place in the Judge’s courtroom. Reps of Jay-Z sent a Press Release today regarding the sale of his Las Vegas 40/40 franchise.

“The sale is a great business decision, we are delighted,” the rapper said in a distributed statement. “We look forward to expanding the brand even further to Chicago and Tokyo.”

The new owners will operate the space under a different name and not 40/40. The terms of the deal were not announced. (more…)
