R. Kelly is being investigated over his alleged involvement in a tour scam. The R&B singer has been accused of earning $130,000 from a tour in South Africa despite failing to perform, according to reports. Buddy didn’t even show up, but he got paid….Local woman Busiswe Zakwe has been arrested for allegedly swindling thousands from investors by promising them they would benefit from ticket sales if they brought an R Kelly tour to the country in 2005. Zakwe claims she deposited the money into Kelly’s account, but he never appeared in the country. (more…)

Word has it that Oprah Winfrey is trying to feature every single American Olympic gold medalist from the Beijing Games for a broadcast of her talk show to air on Sept. 11.

According to reports, a cop pulled a gun on Sean (Diddy) Combs during a routine traffic stop in Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday. A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy briefly brandished his weapon at Combs on the Sunset Strip after cops pulled over a car driven by a member of his entourage.

“A deputy pulled his firearm, fearing for his safety,” said a sheriff’s department spokesman. “The situation was deflated as quickly as it began.” (more…)

Wow…Terrence Howard “xposed” to the New York Times that a song on his album “Shine Through It” was really about stalking his ex-wife after they broke up. LOL! Real Talk!

“I wrote that song (”No. 1 Fan”) as a stalker,” said the actor. “It was raining, and I was sitting there in front of the house, watching her come home from a date after we were divorced.”

“I was imagining what she did on this date, and watching her giving him a kiss. I went home and wrote this song,” he said. (more…)

I’m not really in to politics, but last night I watched Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, and I must say I was really touch and impressed by her speech. Michelle Obama made a connection with everyone as she described herself as a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother, no different from many women.

She spoke about her dreams for her two daughters…  “I think about how one day, they’ll have families of their own. And one day, they — and your sons and daughters — will tell their own children about what we did together in this election. They’ll tell them how this time, we listened to our hopes, instead of our fears. How this time, we decided to stop doubting and to start dreaming,” she said. She was GREAT!

MORE SAD NEWS…Jeez. Reggae Sensation Spragga Benz is mourning the loss of his 17 year old son, Carlton Grant, who was gunned down by Kingston police on August 23, 3008. According to police reports, a police squad who was patrolling Downtown Kingston, Jamaica pulled over two men riding bikes along Church Street (one of them being Carlton Grant)…An associate of Grant pulled out a handgun and fired several shots towards the officers. The police officers returned firing killing Grant who had ran to avoid being hurt, but was found gunned down up the road. (more…)

WOW…Sad news…Dr. Dre’s son died suddenly a couple of days ago. LA County Coroner reported that he body of Andre Young Jr. was found in his Woodland Hills home on Saturday morning. Dre’s son was only 20 years old! Friends say that Young was out Friday night and got home around 5:30 a.m. and his mother found him unresponsive the next morning around 10 a.m. She called 911, but by the time they got there he was dead.
