To spice up the NFL kick off this season, Usher will be performing at a FREE concert in New York City. Billboard.com reports that the R&B Singer will team up with country musician Keith Urban to perform in Columbus Circle. The televised event will be shown throughout NFL programs including the NFL Network, NFL.com, Sprint’s NFL Mobile Live and broadcast on NBC the following day.

The festive concert will be followed by the season’s opener which will feature the Super Bowl champion New York Giants facing off the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The performance is currently scheduled for Thursday, September 4 in mid-town Manhattan.
