X-CLUSIVE: FIRST TRANSSEXUAL TO APPEAR ON AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL!

WOW…how things have changed…The 11th Cycle of America’s Next Top Model will feature the first TRANSSEXUAL contestant. Isis, who is a 22 year old receptionist from Maryland says “My cards were dealt differently”. Isis identifies herself as “a woman born physically male,” adding that she was “born in the wrong body” and always felt completely female.
The inclusion of Isis is being hailed by GLAAD president Neil Giuliano as “an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television.
“We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic visibility of transgender people possible,” Giuliano said.
When asked if Isis would be a role model on the show, “I like to help people, but I’m here to follow my dreams” she/he says…
America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11 premieres on The CW Network September 3.

yo we are allowing same sex marriages so why not a transsexual model…….as much as the sexual act and lifestyle confuses me…….we are still speaking aabout a human being and should respect each other no matter what…….isis deserves to follow her dreams if there is an opportunity to do it……..he/she might just win……….man how the world has changed

tiffany, how does one race accept changes faster than another one? Who did that research? I believe there has been mental road blocks by all races, reglion & general people on this subject.
I agree w/ Neoleo the world is changing..at one time NO one spoke of it, just whispered. Now they are broadcasting it on every channel & rooftop. Its not the transsexuals that are the issue, it just wasn’t put out there for us to accept. Its good to see the closet door off the hinges~!

manuel..shes not a she…lmao..ew…but seriously..i dont care if the world is changing…it sint gonna change my values…and i dont agree with this b.s….and i voted NO..on that marriage issue…most people will look away n say, its their life…but everything we do effects another person..we all contribute to scoiety..n my children will not grow up thinking homosexuality is o.k….thats one reason wy sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed..Bible people..get one.
Whoever u are, that last comment was totally unacceptable. Homosexuals are people. Do u not see that? They cannot deny their attraction to the same sex just like heterosexuals cannot deny their affection to the opposite sex. Many homosexuals do date the other sex to appease their families, friends, and society, until they feel comfortable with who they are. I think it’s very important to include every subculture (no offense intended, lack of a better term) in anything we do. This is a huge step in the right direction for all of humanity.
And if you claim you’re a “can do no wrong” Christian, maybe you should reevaluate your values. Christians are suppsed to be forgiving and treat all people equally. I’m so sick of you hypocritical Christians saying everyone is equal but treating anyone that does things differently as scum. And the bible is not to be taken literally if you knew anything. It is meant to be used as a guide, to live life ad a good, honest person. Homosexuals are humans. They are good people. Keep your mouth shut if you think otherwise.
