We hear that Janet Jackson got sick during her tour stop in Montreal, Canada for her Rock Witchu Tour. An ambulance rushed Jackson to the nearest hospital around 6:30p last night, but nobody has told us what the cause of her illness was. Her publicist made an “official statement” late last night saying

“Janet had been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before the concert. She “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.” The statement also said that Jackson was being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about her condition.

Jackson is out of the hospital now, but no word as to if she is performing at her next stop tonight.
