NFL PLAYER CHANGES HIS NAME TO OCHO CINCO

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson has legally changed his name to “Chad Javon Ocho Cinco” in Broward County, Fla., a switch that became official this week. Two years ago, Johnson gave himself the moniker — a reference in Spanish to his No. 85 — and put it on the back of his uniform before a game. WOW! Check this out…Earlier this year we posted that Ne-Yo was suing R. Kelly promoters for dropping him off the R. Kelly tour after just two shows. Ne-Yo was dropped from the tour because he had upstaged R. Kelly (allegedly). Well, Ne-Yo did end up suing the tour’s promoter, Rowe Entertainment, and the company failed to answer the lawsuit that was served to them. Thus, a L.A. Superior Court ordered Rowe Entertainment to pay Ne-Yo (aka Shaffer Smith) and his touring agent $700,320.00. Reps for Rowe had no comment upon press release.

The Detroit News is reporting that Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is offering to plead guilty to one or two felonies, leave office, pay a fine and restitution and perform community service – all on the condition that he does not go to jail, a source close to his legal team said.

Jay-Z finally came forward to address accusations that Foxy Brown and Teairra Mari have brought about regarding their tenure at Roc-a-Fella Records. As previously reported, Teairra Mari xposed that she was really hurt that Jay-Z never contacted her to tell her that she was getting dropped from the label due to lack of records sales and Foxy has told the media repeatedly that Jay-Z never checked on her while she was in jail. So Jay-Z felt obligated to clear his record that he isn’t the bad guy here… “As far as Foxy or Teairra Marì, these are people that I have given chances to. It’s understandable that they would be upset, but you got to look at it from my point of view as well,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com. (more…)

I guess it is just to hard to dodge the paparazzi these days. Additionally, Halle didn’t only show off her cute offspring, but she was rocking a nice size rock on her wedding finger that weekend.
