Please, please, please advise everyone you know that they absolutely CANNOT
go to the polls wearing any Obama (or whoever you are voting for) shirts,
pins, hats, etc. It is AGAINST THE LAW and will be grounds to have the
polling officials turn you away. This is considered campaigning and no
one can campaign within X amount of feet of the polls. They are banking on
us being overly excited and not being aware of this long standing law that
you can bet will be ENFORCED THIS YEAR!!!!!

They figure that if you are turned away, you will not go home and
change your clothes and return to the polls to vote. Please just don’t
wear ANY gear of any sort to the polls!

Please share this information with as many people as you can.
If you are already aware of this, please don’t take
it as insulting your intelligence.

We previously reported that Kanye and 50 Cent were going to battle it up again in a showdown relative to the release of their albums in December of 08. 50 recently said his new album “Before I Self Destruct” will hit stores on December 9th. Well, Kanye has revealed that he doesn’t wanna wait that long to come out with this project entitled “808s And Heartbreak”. ‘Ye plans to drop his LP in November…no competition, Kanye wants to shine! Kanye’s latest blog said: “I CHANGED MY ALBUM TO NOVEMBER SOMETHING CAUSE I FINISHED THE ALBUM AND I FELT LIKE IT.. I WANT YALL TO HEAR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE”

Yahoo News reports that Busta Rhymes was detained at London City Airport by immigration officers. He was refused entry in Britain due to “unresolved convictions” in the U.S. The performer remained in custody in London while RockCorps took legal steps to try to reverse the decision. Counsel for Busta says had been allowed into Britain twice before this year. He was to appear at a concert Friday at London’s mammoth Albert Hall. Ludacris has agreed to perform in Busta’s place. In a study published this month by “Evolution and Human Behavior,” researchers claim lovebirds can avoid sexual temptation by acknowledging affection for their partners.

A research team at Florida State University timed how long it took 100-plus men and women to look away from an attractive face. They found that people who’d been triggered to think about their relationships before the test looked away from the hotties more quickly.

“This must be very deeply ingrained in us, because it happens so quickly, and we can’t consciously control it,” Gian Gonzaga, one of the study’s authors, told the LA Times. ” The findings show that both sexes can curb the urge to cheat by thinking about their significant others.

But even if your man doesn’t get the warm fuzzies often, he can be trained to stay faithful.

In another study published in “Evolution and Human Behavior” last March, Gonzaga and UCLA researchers got participants thinking about their partners, then flashed pictures of attractive members of the opposite sex. Those imagining their mates weren’t able to remember as many details about the seductive subjects. And previous research conducted at McGill University in Montreal found that when men created an internal mantra about their relationship, they were able to avoid seeking out attractive women.

Honey hush (like loyal reader sassybear would say)…NBA Baller Baron Davis is looking to quickly shed some weight he gained during off season just in time for NBA training campe which begins on October 5th. Davis decided to get some help from JENNY CRAIG…Yup you heard it right…the 6′3″ LA Clippers guard said he has signed on as the official spokesman for Jenny Craig’s weight loss program after his friend Queen Latifah put him on to it.

“I know Queen Latifah, and when I saw her out there using it, I thought maybe I could use it, too, to work on my health and fitness goals and inspire others,” he tells People. Davis said that he went overboard this summer eating out at his favorite Mexican food spot.

“I go to Pinches Tacos in L.A., start with a carne asada burrito, and work my way down the menu,” he says. “In the off-season, it’s kind of hard to maintain day-to-day. I don’t want to get up and cook. And when I pig out, I’m the type of person where there’s no limit to what I can do.” (more…)

Ciara is still fussing over those Vibe nude pics. In an interview with MTV she says that she really had underwear on during the photo shoot. It’s “very, very upsetting and somewhat misleading,” she told MTV News. (see video interview below)

Vibe Editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith tells a different story. She said that Ciara was completely nude for the shoot and the whole thing was her idea! Who’s lying here man!

“I have so much respect for Ciara, and Ciara was so happy when she pitched this idea to us, and the photos are actually striking and beautiful,” Smith said during an interview with New York’s KISS-FM. “It was pitched to me in a way that it was time [for her] to grow up and be beautiful and be free and be all the things she wanted to be.”

Ciara said that the photo shoot was suppose to celebrate “human form”. She explained that after the pictures were taken of her, she felt great, but when she saw the end results on the printed magazine she realized that something was missing….HER UNDERWEAR! LOL

“When I saw the pictures, that wasn’t what was discussed or what we were going in to do, so that definitely bothered me,” she told MTV. “I think the body is something beautiful, and I wanted to celebrate that. And unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly what it was in the photo shoot, and I’m looking forward to moving forward.” (more…)

Ludacris’ home broke out in fire in South Atlanta. Authorities said that a “signficant fire” destroyed the pool house of the residence, but did not really affect the main structure of the property. There were no injuries. A neighbor reported the fire to Fulton County Fire Department around 11:30p.m. before the alarm system at the house was triggered. WTF? LOL. The fire fighters were able to put out the fire in thirty minutes the report indicates. Luda was in New York during the time of the fire because he was promoting his forthcoming album Theater of the Mind which is set to be released on November 11th.
