Marion Jones, former Olympic sprinter, was the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday. This was her first interview since she was released from prison for steriod abuse during her career. Jones explained her decision to lie to federal prosecutors about her use of the once-undetectable designer steroid THG, called “the clear” by clients of the Bay Area Laboratory Cooperative (BALCO). “And so when they showed it to me and they said this is the substance, and I knew that I had taken that substance, I made the decision that I was going to lie and I was going, you know, try and cover it up,” Jones told Winfrey. Birdman and Lil Wayne announced that they plan on releasing a film starring THEMSELVES called “Like Father, Like Son” set to be released next summer. The two revealed their plans with New York’s Power 105.1 FM radio personalities Ed Lover and Free backstage at the station’s mega Powerhouse concert last night, Birdman revealed a forthcoming film set to star the two rappers.

“Me and Wayne just finished this movie, Like Father, Like Son, that’s coming out in June and the album coming out at the same time,” Birdman said. “That’s what we do. Just me being myself. I just wanted to, it’s something we wanted to fund. It’s ours.” They didn’t want to spill the beans, but said the movie’s plot will be based out of their hometown. “So, it’s really what it is, like father, like son,” Birdman added. “Normal day growing up in New Orleans, you know. Hood rich.”

Even though these kids aren’t old enough to vote, they still are spreading the word about the importance of voting. Middle school students from the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta have scored a viral hit with their musical, non-partisan examination of the presidential candidates, “You Can Vote However You Like.” They did it to the tune of rapper T.I.’s hit “Whatever You Like”. Check out the 6th and 7th graders square off, taking the positions of John McCain and Barack Obama supporters. TOO CUTE!

It has been confirmed that Chicago police found a gun near where near where 7-year-old Julian King’s body was discovered. The gun will be tested to see if it was used in the Hudson family slayings. Authorities told the Chicago Tribune that the gun police found yesterday from a vacant lot about a block from where Julian’s body was found matched the caliber of weapon used in the slayings. I love me some T.I. The ATL rapper thought his voting privileges were revoked because as we all know he is a convicted felon. But after doing his research HIMSELF, her learned that under a Georgia law felons are eligible if they’re not currently serving probation or a prison sentence. “It’s a relief,” T.I. express. He stood in line for no more than 10 minutes on Wednesday before entering a polling center in suburban Atlanta to vote for the first time in his life. “This what it is all about, not staying up late and waking up early to vote,” he added. “Now rather than just talking about it, I’m being about it. I’m leading by example, and it makes me feel a lot better.”

Rumor has it that Whitney Houston has signed on to join the next season of Celebrity Big Brother. Now we hear that the CBS has asked Houston’s ex-hubby, Bobby Brown to participate in the hit reality show as well. The divorced couple, who split two years ago, have not confirmed the rumor as of press time. However, reliable sources claim the rumor is true. This should be a humorous! What do you think?
