Who watched the debate last night? Some say it was another tit for tat debate amongst the two Presidential Candidates…Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama squared off last night in a fiery presidential debate. McCain seemed like he was trying distance himself from President George W. Bush saying  “Senator Obama, I am not President Bush,” when Obama pointed out that his opponent had voted in favour of four of five Bush budgets despite his relentless criticism of overspending in Washington. Obama is just speaking the facts!  “If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago”, McCain continued. Obama stood by his opinion and said, “On the core economic issues that matter to the American people — on tax policy, on energy policy, on spending priorities — you’ve been a vigorous supporter of President Bush. Essentially what you’re proposing is (four) more years of the same thing.”
