DIDDY IS PAYING BIG TIME FOR T-PAIN AUTO TUNE!

T-Pain is said to be the King of Auto-Tune. Artist such as Lil Wayne and Kanye have been asking for T-Pain’s blessings before using the instrument in their songs. But Diddy took it one step further of course. You know he always does it big. Diddy’s next album will be entirely sung in Auto-Tune. However, Diddy will give all royalty credits of the album to T-Pain. “I gave T-Pain one point on my [upcoming] album for using the Auto-Tune,” Diddy revealed on Sunday night during TRL’s Finale
“Sign the papers,” Pain added, confirming Puff’s revelation. “Diddy actually gave me royalties on this album just for using Auto-Tune. He signed the contract and everything. If I can do that with Diddy, somebody else better be signing something. It’s Diddy. He didn’t have to involve me at all. … I’m writing and producing on his album, and he gave me extra royalties on top of that for using something I just brought back.”

another reason why hip hop sucks……too much bandwagoning and no originality….it’s a f*&King program he didn’t invent the shit
I feel ‘PUFF OVERBITE’ for giving props since TPain is the only one using it in THIS ERA! But since he’s paying, how about some attention to Teddy Riley – the originator of that dredful sound!
I’m sick of T-Pain to be honest …he needs to just sing and put the machine away already. And didn’t Zapp and Roger use that back in the day?
@ neety i was thinking the same thing! everybody acts like he was the first to use the auto tuner but he wasnt!! he said he can actually sing so lets see it. when he first came out it was hot but now im just tired of it try something new.

it was nice when t-pain first came out with “i’m sprung,” but he still got that shit goin like two damn albums later! i ain’t gon lie, though. he handlin his business but i think it just might be time for a little somethin different. and as far as diddy’s next album…it’s gon be bullshit. nothing good comes out of bad boy no more.
Roger Troutman and Zapp were the original ones using this sound. They were the bomb! This new stuff in no way compares.
