The bad economy has forced General Motors to end its 9-year endorsement deal (believed to be worth at least $7 million a year) with Tiger Woods one year earlier than stated in his contract. General Motors Corp. said it’s trying to survive the worst sales downturn in a quarter-century. Also, Tiger wasn’t too fazed, because he wanted more time for himself, especially with a second child on the way.
