American Idol’s Simon Cowell and his long time girlfriend Terri Seymour broke up after being together for six years. “They broke up about a month ago. It was Terri’s idea, not Simon’s,” Cowell’s rep, Max Clifford told Us on Saturday. “Simon is doing alright, but they were together a long time and so you can understand that it’s going to be a strange time.” Adding, “It was something that was coming, so it wasn’t a shock or a surprise.” The intend to stay good friends, but have moved on. “They have so much history,” Clifford said. “They spoke a week ago and were on the phone to each other yesterday.” US Magazine asked if their was any chance of a reconciliation? “I don’t know, only Simon and Terri know that. You should speak to her,” Clifford said.
