STEVE HARVEY VS. KATT WILLIAMS?

We always hear about rap battles and rappers dissing each other, but this time around a new stand-up comic beef is brewing. Katt Williams and Steve Harvey are going at it and we hear they will settle their beef in a head to head battle on New Year’s Eve in Detroit. The beef really started because Jamie Foxx instigated the whole thing on his Sirius Radio show “Foxxhole” on December 19th. Foxx played a clip of Katt Wiliams saying this about Steve Harvey:
First, Foxx plays a clip of Williams dissing Harvey. “I wanna apologize for what’s gonna happen,” Williams said of the joint comedy gig. “But the second that you get on stage, I need you to understand that that’s your final time as the ‘King of Comedy.’ Water seeks its own level, you can’t stop it playboy. It is what it is, so I hope you’re ready. I hope you got a team of writers. You gonna need about six or seven of ‘em….”
Steve Harvey then calls into the radio station and says that he is just blown by Katt Williams words:
“I’ve always been cool with Katt. He said in an interview that back in LA, I didn’t know who he was,” Harvey told Foxx and crew. “I mean understand, I didn’t know who he was when I was on the radio in LA. He hadn’t been in any movies or anything, and the brother was just not that known. He was talking about me in the clubs, and I just asked on the radio, whoever Katt Williams is, to call me. He called me, we straightened it out. We became friends. We’ve been cool ever since, so I thought.”

Never mind Kat Williams, WHAT’S UP WITH THE GREY SIDEBURNS??? I guess when the toupe came off, so did the JUST FOR MEN BLACK DYE…EEEWWWW
Im not sure who will win a battle between the two but if Katt comes in drunk and high, hmmmmm Steve may take him down.. If not, Steve is really not that funny so Katt could come correct and win with the right jokes and a sober head.
Oh my gosh..just off of Katts voicemail he’s won..That mofo is a funny ass man. CRAZY with a capital C , but funny none the less.. What did Steve do to piss this man off ! Whatever goes down..Steve has been doing his thing..since like before I was born..lol He’s an OG of comedy..so this should be interesting..Steve made many valid points, but if the jokes aren’t funny ..it’s over for him..May the best man win!
And the winner is…. KATT WILLIAMS! (imho)
I was there. Steve was not on his A game, at all, and there was a bunch of bs going on. He complained about the venue and the crowd, to the members of the crowd because he was getting heckled on top of getting lukewarm reception from his jokes. The only time he really got the crowd going was when he was going back and for with an obviously drunk female heckler.
Katt Williams was by far the funnier comedian on New Years Eve. Katt called Steve out more than a few times and the self proclaimed “king” refused to come out onstage with Katt.
Overall though I had fun, and the whole night was entertaining.
I was a just a little disappointed with Steve’s performance and his excessive cursing, guess he’s not trying to clean up his act anymore, (a fact Katt Williams put him on blast for as well).
Stay in the game Katt!
ok ok, i was there also and i think steve was trying to be the bigger persons he did let Kat make act out i like out …..
I did not think he was as funny as Kat. But i do like him a lot. When Kat came out it was like a party i was standing up danceing my song was playing. Yes he talk about Steve alot some of it was funny (ok ok all of it was funny.) I hope hes not mad at him for real I like them both, Maybe the could try to work it out and have show were they are not mad with each other i would still go…….. all in all i so much fun

I was there as well on New Years Eve in Detroit and I was PISSED-very disappointed. That BS was CRAZY!! Steve was clearly off his game and the entire set-up (promotor, location, etc) was CRAP. The drunk lady “SET-UP” how interesting she left when Steve was done. How interesting the WACK AZ introduction for Steve. F-N disrespecting him, “I called this NI twice where he at”? WTF was that. And I can go on.
Katt got his AZ out there and rip Steve and T Pain for 20 of his 40 minutes WOW thats comedy skill. “BS” I was SO ANGRY, oh it was funny, but it was F-N DISRESPECTFUL! It takes no skill to go behind somebody and twist words, and work off his material. I think he prepared what 3 jokes. Beaches when you’ve been in the game as long as Steve has been, damn can a NI get some respect.
And he really took that original king thing way the F out of context. I didn’t here that NI talk about none of the others on that tour but gave B. Mac respect. WTF was that. 1 Phrase…

Don’t believe the hype. On the real I paid money for this S, if I wanted to see Katt cappin on NI’s I would have watched Wildin Out! This was some bull, now that’s REAL TALK.
I think Katt is Hilarious. I watched his first show on TV then paid to see the second show the following year when he came to ATL and it was the same material. Granted Steve isn’t as funny as Katt, but Steve is funny and I love listening to his radio show and still watch the Steve Harvey show often. I think those Drugs have really taken a toll on Katt. How he gone be mad about T-Pain hosting the award show. He was late as usual. No body has time to play ‘Its all about me’ be on time for something. Then going to the psych ward b/c of a break down, come on Katt. There was no need for you to take it to this level. B/c of your disrespect of Steve I think I’ve lost respect for you. How you gone diss everybody. It seems you’re the one with the problem. Steve was right, a dog don’t bark at a park car, they tend to bark at cars that are moving and going places. Steve has more money & fame than you. He can be clean and dirty and I’m so glad he didn’t stoop to your level. Seems now that we can all watch you destruct cause you’re funny but it’s only a matter of time before people get tired of hearing the same material.
