“Not Easily Broken” is an uplifting drama about love and family adapted from the book of the same name by renowned pastor and author Bishop T. D. Jakes. The movie stars Morris Chestnut and Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart and was directed by Bill Duke. ‘Not Easily Broken’ revolves around a couple whose strength and faith are tested after the wife is injured in a car crash and the husband becomes attracted to another woman. Christine Beatty, the ex-aide to former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, will spend four months in jail after pleading guilty Monday to two obstruction of justice charges stemming from their infamous text-messaging sex scandal. Do you think she deserved her sentence?

“I lied under oath,” Beatty said shakily as part of her guilty pleas before Wayne Circuit Judge Timothy Kenny. She admitted lying to jurors and seeking to “impede and obstruct the fair administration of justice” in a 2007 police whistle-blower case. The specifics of her jail housing had yet to be decided Monday.

Houston has issued a statement denying the rumors of a reunion with Bobby Brown on Friday. Her publicist, Nancy Seltzer, called the rumor about her client “a complete fabrication”.

LA Times reports that Stephon Marbury was ordered Monday to stay away from the New York Knicks while the team looks for a resolution to the latest controversy surrounding the point guard.
