Michelle Obama will be added to the Madame Tussauds wax museum in its collection of famous figures in D.C. The Museum released some pics of the design process which was done at Merlin Studios in London. The full figure will be unveiled in March. Designers spent six months on the figure by studying photos and video of the First Lady.

General Manager Janine DiGioacchino says  “as our nation’s first African-American first lady, a proud working mom and budding style icon, Mrs. Obama is a role model to women around the corner and around the globe.”

The First Lady’s wax figure will be placed alongside her husband President Barack Obama’s figure.
