LOL! This is sorta funny. The hat that Aretha Franklin wore at the inauguration got so much attention that the desinger behind that HUGE HAT decided to make a less expensive one which will be inspired by the original. The Queen of Soul wore a custom made hat with a Swarovski rhinestone rim. Designer Luke Song of Detroit’s Mr. Song Millinery will debut a replica collection of 12 hats in a variety of colors and bow sizes, priced from $150-$220, next month.

The line will be named after Aretha Franklin! The designer said after the inauguration, the hats were flying off the shelves at his store. LOL!

As previously reported, Sandy “Pepa” Denton, released her autobiography entitled “Lets Talk About Pep”. In her “Tell All” book she opens up about her troubled childhood and her abusive marriage to Treach (from Naughty by Nature). Check out an excerpt on what went down with her and Treach (she changed his name in the book):
“Brad” put his stuff in my room, he really didn’t have much to say. That night, I fell asleep in his arms. The next thing I knew, I opened my eyes and he’s standing over me.
He screamed, “B**ch!, I want a divorce!”
He then grabbed my ring off my finger and threw it at me with all his might. It was like a five-carat diamond and it hit me right in the middle of my forehead.
He grabbed me and yanked me out of the bed. He started slamming me into the headboard. He picked me up by my throat, choking me and he slammed me into the footboard. I felt as if my back had cracked open on the hard metal.
He kept yelling, “F**k you, b**ch!” as he kept punching me.
He then banged my head into the wall several times and continued to choke me, I was scratching with my hands, trying to pull off because I thought he was going to choke me to death. He pulled me back by my hair and slammed me into the railing again. He was going crazy.
Last summer, Pepa had an exclusive interview with Essence.com and you can tell she still feared her ex husband: (more…)
Check out this video from reggae artist, Mavado, called I’m So Special. This single is really popular up in New York. I love it! Mavado created a buzz for himself when he linked up with Jay-Z his single “On The Rock” (remix). He’s back with another banger!
One of our loyal readers (Sassybear), told MissXpose about this disturbing article that hit the web. A bakery owner in Greenwich Village, NY was selling a cookie called “Drunken Negro Face” cookies which was supposedly in honor of our first black president, Barack Obama. (See News Clip Below). Ted Kefalinos, the owner of Lafayette French Pastry, said he didn’t see anything offensive about the cookies. After the news broadcasted the story and customers called him with death threats, he apologized to his community for selling the racist cookies.
“Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, it was an innocent design that I created and it was nothing more than just a piece of art,” he told the local Fox News affiliate. I don’t believe he is sincere!
This is just horrible! Tell us how you feel about this! Leave us your comments. (more…)

So we hear that Young Jeezy accepted Bill O’Reilly’s invite to appear on his show. As previously reported, Bill O’Reilly said on his show that Jeezy and Jay-Z’s performance of “My President” was a “rant that offended people”. O’Reilly continued by saying “I guess they didn’t get the memo about bringing the country together. I don’t think Barack Obama would approve of [the performance]. I think it was low class.”
O’Reilly has asked Jeezy to come on his show and defend his behavior. Jeezy accepted! “Damn right! I ain’t never ran, nah mean?” Jeezy told XXL “At the end of the day, you’re dealing with cats who think that we as young black men don’t know what it is we do. We entrepreneurs, we came from nothing.”
