Kobe Bryant broke a record by scoring 61 points against the New York Knicks last night at Madison Square Garden. Bernard King had 60 points for the Knicks on Dec. 25, 1984. Bryant two free throws with 2:33 left in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 126-117 win. Bryant shot 19-of-31 from the floor and made all 20 foul shots. He got a standing ovation at the end of the game.
