“Celebrity Gossip and Entertainment industry news”

Gossip/tabloid publisher, TMZ, reportedly paid close to $63,000.00 to the law enforcement source who released the “battered” photo of Rihanna last week. The law enforcement insider who leaked the photo supposedly made double their salary in one day by selling the pic. TMZ said they obtained the photo legally, but LAPD is still doing a thorough investigation. LAPD sources say the release of the photo could effect the outcome of the case they are trying to building against Chris Brown. “Brown, even if guilty, could walk free because of the unauthorized release of this photo,” according to an LAPD source.
Due to TMZ’s poor judgment of releasing the photo, they are feeling the effect of advertisers pulling back their contracts with them.

that’s a lot of cheese to pay to see someone BEAT UP!
That’s probably a year’s salary for the person that gave the picture to them from the police department. That’s got to be hard to work in LA or NY where you would have more of a chance of being around incriminating evidence about the stars… In jails or in hospitals – I know some of the workers are always thinking of ways to get paid for information. Personally I would not have taken anything less than 100K for the picture and that would have only been if I was somehow sure not to get busted and fired from my job.
