Jennifer Hudson may land a role in the next Tyler Perry flick. Tyler Perry says he wrote the film just for Jennifer Hudson, according to People.com. Perry didn’t want to share the details of the project, but confirmed Hudson was interested in working with thim. Who wouldn’t be?

“I just wrote a movie for her that I’m really excited about,” the filmmaker, 39, told PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of Madea Goes to Jail, which was number 1 in the box office. “I’m hoping she’ll be able to do it.”

Unfortunately, her rep tells PEOPLE, “She will not be doing the film as she’ll be on tour at the same time they are shooting.” But you never know…

Perry revealed,  “[Jennifer] says that she’s been wanting to work with me for a a very long time and I definitely want to work with her. We just have to find the right time.”
