Yesterday (Thursday), President Obama got to sit down with Jay Leno which will mark the first time a sitting president has appeared on the late night talk show for an interview. President Obama agreed to the interview so that he can sell his stimulus and budget plans for a path of long term economic growth. “We don’t look at it as a process of demonstrating the president’s sense of humor,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, but rather a chance “to explain the economic situation we are in.”
