Good and bad news for Miss Natalie Cole. She has been discharged from the hospital after a successful kidney transplant surgery. Unfortunately her sister passed awy from lung cancer the same day Natalie got her organ transplant. She was to attend the memorial services and funeral yesterday, but she couldnt make it.  “Natalie is continuing to do well under the circumstances,” says her rep, according to People.com. 

Cole will be spending three to four months recuperating. She is also still recieving dialysis to treat her Hepatitis C which she got from drug abuse in her past. The disease is now in remission. She plans to still go on tour to promote her album “Still Unforgettable” this summer.
