Its a wrap for Nas and Kelis. The couple filed their divorce papers around 3:45 p.m. yesterday (April 30) by attorney Laura Wasser on behalf of Kelis.Kelis, who is seven months’ pregnant, filed for divorce Thursday in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking spousal and child support. She has claimed verbal abuse and infidelity as the reasons behind the filing of the divorce. The two first met in 2002 at a party thrown by Diddy which resulted in the two ultimately getting married in 2005. We hear the two had a very “open” relationship, but when Kelis became pregnant the two stuck together to prepare for the arrival of their first child, a boy, together. But I guess it didn’t work out. She accused Nas of cheating and more in the court documents. We will keep you posted.
