   Beyonce’s performance was horrible, strange to say the least, she seems full of herself performing onstage and not paying tribute to Micheal Jackson, or even making some sort of reference to him. Talk about having an EGO, she was definitely on planet mars.

   I am not a fan of Beyonce, I give her credit for being a great entertainer. But last night was simply terrible. Someone help me to understand the song choice and the costume. What did it have to do with honoring Mr. Jackson.

   She was on point with the vocals. But I dont understand the body suit- I am so sick of seeing that. She could have showed SOME respect and wore some clothes for the tribute. I have to admit- I did cry when she sung “In the Eyes of an Angel”.

   I called to girlfriend to confirm what I was seeing. It was a mess and I didn’t see the point of the whole performance especially the outfit. I was very disapointed. I think almost everyone changed their perfomance to be a tribute to MJ. If this is what she tried to do, she failed miserably.

    I don’t think Beyonce’s performance went with the essence of the show… her performance seemed to be a little selfish (meaning it was all about everyone being in aww of her). She needs to take a break because she is too much.. I totally agree with who ever said that she needs to go on hiatus for a few years…

    I am not a hater.. I think she is a great singer.. she just seems a little too selfish and that is a huge turn off!

    I think we are all in concencus with the fact that Beyonce’s performance was off- i would have loved her to use her talent to pay homage to Michael with dance and all- she’s done it b4 with Destiny’s Child. I’m a fan of Beyonce and she always gives great performances but she was supposed to tear the house down for MJ, and that sh*! was wierd. I think she wants ppl to see her in a different light now and change it up, but first she needs to change her look- that wack blond weave aint workin no more- try a diff style! neither is the weak paste makeup- tired of lookin at that same old! I agree with *purposedriven, go away for a while and let us miss you, then come back with your swag turned back on and a new hairstylist and makeup artist.

    I agree with everyone; the outfit was not only ugly and inappropriate, but caused the dancers problems attaching the bottom. Her hair was nappy around the edges/roots, and the song was wack! I noticed her jealous reactions (face cracking) to: Kesha & Monica performing (they were beautiful). Although Beyonce dedicated her 1st award to MJ, I didn’t feel it was NOT sincere; she is selfish…all about herself….what goes around will come back around.

    I couldn’t sit through the whole beyonce performance because she looked totally ridiculous so i turned the channel. What kind of woman wears something like that to a tribute for the remembrance of a legend who just passed away??? I didn’t realize how slutty and tasteless that she actually was until this performance. Bottom line i wont allow my kids to watch beyonces videos because her look is slutty and unrefined, i dont know what happened to her class now she is portrayed as a bootyshaking whore, she use to be inspiring when with the group. Her performance on the BET awards wasn’t respectable and can be likened to garbage. She appears to have no respect or regard for other people and this makes everything about her look ugly. She could never be legendary like Michael Jackson because she lacks the most important things a “person” should have in life” which is obvious based on this horrible performance at the tribute”, im sure she thinks the spotlight is the only thing important no matter how foolish you look in it. BET i am so disappointed that you let this selfish trampy entertainer disrespect the honorary tribute to our beloved michael jackson the humanitarian legend who was the greatest entertainer of all time.

    Beyonces performance was a hot mess at the BET awards but she made up for it at her concert after that. She sung Halo with MJ name in it and she did a great job. She did another song – a fast one too but I forget which one. She was great in both those performances. She must have heard how awful folks thought she did at the BET awards.

I don’t think it was appropiate for her to come out in that outfit to pay tribute to the KING OF POP who passed away. beyonce is a beautiful girl, she does not need to HALF dress all the time to get attention.     These comments repulse me. I am in awe at the saucy remarks made about Beyonce. First of all, no one who has class themselves would refer to any woman as a Bitch. And secondly, if you weren’t a true hater, you wouldn’t make obvious hateful comments such as, “I hate that Bitch Beyonce–she should go sit down.” No. You should go sit down!!! Beyonce has taken a different approach to the performace scheme, and if you haven’t noticed, she has changed her image. Back when she was w/ Destiny’s Child, she wore jeans, and other baggy clothing, not very fitting. I’ve never heard of a whore, or at least some who is trying to be a whore intentionally choosing to wear white to a tribute. If I had enough time, I could truly break this down to all of you ignorant people. First, the outfit which was white represents purity–also a sense of being in heaven, as we would hope that’s Michael’s resting place. Second, the song is very spiritual–so how could anyone go wrong with a spiritual song. Wow, someone actually commented on her nappy roots. If that’s not a hater move, I don’t know what else is. I mean, that is totally straying away from what we were initially discussing, which was the choice of song and clothing for the tribute. Those roots were intended to look that way to make it seem natural. Have you ever heard of a full lace wig, you ignorant people? Maybe not because you can’t afford one–or at least the ones she wears. At any rate, I don’t like to digress as many of you have. I would like to say that I hated the performance, but not the artist. And, yes it may sound contradictory of me–but it’s not. The only reason i strongly disliked her performace is due to the fact that i was expecting one of her more popular songs like “Diva” or “Single Ladies”, or maybe even an actual MJ song. But there’s nothing else that made me dislike the performance other than the fact that it was totally unexpected. Beyonce will always be an amazing artist. And her hiatus is over. She needs not to take a break when her haters are rolling deep. This is the time for her to prosper because the adversary is raging with hate for Beyonce. Maybe if you had what she had, you’d also have a Big Ego.
