Less than 24 hours after the death of Michael Jackson, a song in his honor was recorded by an all-star lineup led by The Game and had made its world premiere on a radio station in Los Angeles. After learning of MJ’s passing Thursday night, Game got some of his famous friends – including Diddy, Chris Brown, Polow Da Don, Mario Winans, Usher and Boyz II Men – to help record a song giving thanks and reflecting on the King of Pop. Usher plans to get really personal on his upcoming CD. An as-yet-untitled track from Usher’s forthcoming album, “Monster,” is all about the end of his marriage to Tameka Foster. Sean Garrett, the co-writer of the song, says that the song is being referred to as “Filing Papers”. WOW!

“[Songwriter] Sean Garrett called me to the studio,” producer Zaytoven, who’s worked on songs for Gucci Mane and OJ Da Juiceman, told MTV News last week in Atlanta. “He called like, ‘You’ve got to come hear this song. I’ve got a hit.’ ” According to MTV.com, Zay went to the studio and heard Garrett’s reference vocals on the track, and soon after heard the finished version with Usher’s vocals. (more…)

TV pitchman Billy Mays has passed away at age 50, the same age as MJ. According to the AP, Mays, who is best known for larger than life enthusiasm while pitching products such as OXICLEAN in TV infomercials, was found unresponsive on Sunday morning by his wife, Deborah Mays. He was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. The medical examiner in Florida said on Monday, Billy Mays, who died Sunday, has likely died of heart attack in his sleep and did not appear to have suffered head trauma in a rough airplane a day before his death. We hear that Chris Brown was set to deliver a stunning performance as a tribute to Michael Jackson on the BET Awards. However, rumor has it that Jay-Z warned BET that should Chris Brown be on the show, he nor Beyonce would be performing as planned. This caused BET to quickly remove Chris Brown from the line up. This rumor is further confirmed through a series of TWEETS posted on Chris Brown’s dancer’s page. Chris Brown’s dancer is claiming that Hov gave BET an ultimatum.

For once justice is served. As some of you probably heard, Bernard Madoff , 71, was sentenced to a maximum of 150 years in federal prison after he admitted in March to running one of the largest and longest financial frauds in recent memory.

US District Judge Denny Chin said: “Here the message must be sent that Mr. Madoff’s crimes were extraordinarily evil,” before ordering a sentence.

Madoff claimed to have as much as $US65 billion in his firm’s accounts at the end of November, but prosecutors said the accounts only held a small fraction of that. (more…)

The other night in Hollywood, the celebs came out to party with “The Game” guest star and Slip-N-Slide recording artist, Drew Sidora (pictured above). Fellow “Game” castmates including Pooch Hall, Hosea Chanchez, Barry Floyd and Shanti Lowry came to support the star’s new singing career alongside Pleasure P( who shut the house down with a performance), Day26, Dawn Richard from Danity Kane and Kyla Pratt.  Sidora is now currently dating none other than Mr. Trey Songz! WOW, never would put those two together? The party definitely looked HOT! Check out the pics:

Last night at the “post” BET Awards show, Tiny (T.I’s fiance) and Toya (Lil Wayne’s ex-wife) debuted a sneak peak of their BET Reality show simply entitled “Tiny & Toya”. The premiere episode came on real late last night and I actually watched it…I must admit, the  first episode was kinda boring…but the show seems to reflect on their personal lives including all the drama and the glitz and glamour.
