Sorry to disappoint all you fans, but the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi denied the congressional resolution that would have honored late pop star Michael Jackson on Thursday. The proposal, sponsored by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, a Democrat from Texas, cited Jackson’s charitable acts and would have declared him an American legend, musical icon, and world humanitarian.
